My first "how to"

and it is going to be in english. I have to say this is very new to me, so please let me know if you have any comments. And if the design can be used.

This is a photo instruction for a mandala star, designed by me. I really hope I did not steal a design already made, I have been doodling with my paper for hours and came up with this.

You will need 8 square pieces of paper, I used 5x5 cm squares. The instruction photos are much larger.

Divide the paper in to small squares, as shown at the picture number 3.

At one corner of the paper make a crease as shown on the picture and repeat simetrically

At the opposite corner of the paper fold the paper along the pre - creased line

Repeat symmetrically, creating the pocket.

Crease.

Use the same folding technique as applied for the origami bird base, only for the upper part.

Create the bird base fold upwards.

Crease along the line, and fold over as shown on the next picture. Repeat symmetrically.

Fold along the lines your already pre - creased, and over the sides.

With a small amount of glue, just on the right side of the flipped bird base, the units will connect.
